 The automotive domain will suffer lost of the rummours prove to be true and the 9-5 and 9-3 from Saab will no longer be produced, if Saab will be closed by GM. It would be shame to lose the launch of the new 9-5, since one factory has been fully equipped and developed especially for this model and the sum invested is huge.

Probably, the only way Saab will continue to “live” is if General Motors decide to accept one of the offers received for the brand and its factories. The technology owned by Saab is impressive and till recently they were considered a luxury brand, that sold cars just to a specific set of customers, that new how to handle a powerful, yet confortable car.

One of the most impressive achievements by Saab was developing an engine able to propelow a car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds on a serie model that sold quite well.
